New York – Branded Cities today announced that it has named Vivien Kronengold as the Chief Brand Officer, a newly created position, reporting directly to Vaibhav Gupta, EVP/Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Kronengold will be responsible for driving initiatives that re-position the company beyond OOH, as a premier, full-service sales, marketing and creative solution for brands and advertisers.

Ms. Kronengold is a strategic and creative marketing executive, with over 20 years’ experience on both the Client and Agency side across a variety of business categories, including: cable & telecommunications, luxury & retail, financial services and packaged goods.

Most recently, Ms. Kronengold was SVP, Brand Strategy and Marketing Communications at Time Warner Cable, where she drove measurable change in brand perceptions and affinity leading into the company’s acquisition by Charter Communications. Prior to then, she was EVP, Global Chief Marketing Officer for Brooks Brothers, one of the oldest and most iconic American retail brands. From 2006-2012, Ms. Kronengold served as SVP, Marketing for Tommy Hilfiger North America, where she developed a sustainable and differentiating brand positioning that continues to be the foundation for all marketing programs today. Prior to Tommy Hilfiger, she held a VP, Marketing role at Polo Ralph Lauren. Notably, Ms. Kronengold also spent 11 years at BBDO New York, one of the most awarded creative agencies in the world, where she rose to SVP, Account Director servicing some of their largest clients including: GE, Charles Schwab, Frito Lay and Visa.
